Janet has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting. After several years of teaching public school on Cape Cod, Janet joined DePaola, Begg & Associates, P.C. in 1983 she became a partner in 1990.

Her practice focuses on advising individuals, small and medium size businesses, and non-profit organizations on accounting, tax, and financial planning matters. She brings her teaching background to work with clients, believing that good planning and a comprehensive understanding of tax law are essential for success.

Janet is a member of the boards of directors of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, the Duffy Health Center, and the Friends of the Barnstable Council on Aging. She also served as the President of the Hyannis Area Chamber of Commerce and the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum Foundation and was a member of the boards of directors of the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod and Independence House.

Janet lives with her husband, Kevin, in Plymouth. In her spare time she enjoys skiing, gardening, and yoga.
